"Who Created God?" is an apologetics-oriented small group curriculum that explores many of the challenging and troublesome questions that are often asked of Christians and by Christians. We'll address topics like: "How can you believe the world was created in Six Days?", "Why would God allow Suffering and Evil?," and, of course, "If God created Everything, then Who Created God?"
The goal of this group is to provide participants with a deeper and more meaningful understanding of the true nature of Christianity, so that they might feel more equipped to discuss these kinds of questions with friends and family. It is open to anyone, regardless of your present beliefs or level of confidence.
The approach taken by Who Created God is to treat all things with a skeptical mindset. The participants are not Christians looking to re-confirm their own belief structures, but seekers of Truth pursuing the best possible explanation for the world we live in. The Truth will always be true, no matter what form of scrutiny we subject it to.
"Who Created God?" is currently being run at the Texas Wesley United Methodist Campus Ministry at the University of Texas at Austin (1904 Guadalupe Street, Austin TX 78705).
Starting in the Fall, we will regularly meet on Tuesday Evenings from 7:00 - 9:00pm at the Wesley's new building on 22nd and Nueces. This page will be updated when details are available.
